  • 22 October 2008: Seminars are organized in order to inform our users about smartcard technologies and applications in our campus. The seminars will be held at METU Cultur and Convention Center room D at October 27, 30 and 31 at 02:00 pm. Click here to access the presentation material.
  • 25 April 2008: Application fees (horizontal transfers, private student), transcript fees, authorized document duplicate fees, diploma charges, diploma ceremony robe hires, identification card costs, academic year windshield sticker charges, EGO (public transport) discount stamp fees, student certificate fees, EPE fee (English Proficiency Exam) payment system has been implemented at the Student Affairs Office.
  • 7 January 2008: Payment system for the fitness hall in the Baraka Gymnasium and the synthetic field has been implemented.
  • 6 August 2007: Printer quota and CD and booklet payment system has been implemented.
  • 16 July 2007: Palm order and bill payment system has been implemented in the Faculty Club.
  • 13 June 2007: Entry and course fee payment system has been implemented in Sports Centre.
  • 5 June 2007: The fine payment system for overdue books in the library has been implemented.
  • 23 May 2007: Entry fee payment system has been implemented in the Pool.
  • 17 May 2007: Palm order and bill payment system has been implemented in the Social Lounge.
  • 9 April 2007: A total of seven “Cüzdanmatik” machines have been placed at the implementation unit by the Turkish Is Bank as planned within the scope of the second stage procedures.
  • 5 March 2007: The hardware and the software infrastructure needed for the second stage of the METU Smart Card Automation Project were established. Within the application areas, field tests were commenced at the Social Lounge, Faculty Club, Library, Sports Centre, Pool, Health Centre, and the Computer Centre.
